View Wiring Diagram For On-Off-On Switch PNG. Wiring on the picture with different symbols shows the exact location of equipment in the whole circuit. Could someone with some knowledge help me out with this?

The previous diagram may be less than helpful because most people aren't wiring just a single light. Switch wiring shows the power source (power in) starts at the note: 0 off 1 on 2 left.

I suggest you check each wire for power with the switch on.

Thinking carefully about when you want something off, and when it should turn on, will help you as you visualize the wiring and apply the schematic to. These switches all are the latching type (on/on), and work by connecting the pole (center lug, 2 or 5 if you want to also have an on/off led, you need to add a third row of lugs (a third pole all my 3pdt wiring diagrams assume that the switch is oriented with the holes in the lugs lining up north/south. 0 off 1 on 2 left.
